My cell phone recently got stolen. Over the past 5 days, I've gone through an array of emotions. But most importantly, I've learned a few things. So I want to document them here.
1. The Radio Sucks
I had forgotten what it was like to only have the radio as an option for music in my car. My commute is a minimum of 45 minutes each way (usually 15-30 minutes longer though) and I can't do anything else while I'm driving than sing out loud to songs or just think with a little background music. It just depends on my mood. I use Spotify 97% of the time through my Bluetooth. Without it, I am subject to the off chance that a song I really love will be on the right station at the right time. But the worst is when there is NOTHING to listen to. I scroll through all the [maybe] 10 stations I have programmed and they are all either a) stuck in a commercial, b) have a really annoying talk show, or c) are playing music I really don't like or don't want to listen to. I suppose the solution to this is to change to the channel to NPR or something productive, but some days I just want to sing out loud in my car and want to be able to choose my songs.
More to come
